Facilities

NECCS is located in Newark's Lincoln Park neighborhood at 17-19 Crawford Street in an historic building that was renovated especially for the school. The building features large classrooms with a small group instructional room connecting every two rooms. In addition there are community spaces on each floor where the students each lunch and classes can gather together for special events. We also have a large outdoor area, which is used for recess and physical education class.

In addition, there will be an Annex next door on Washington Street where we will hold physical education classes and larger gatherings.  This space will also host a variety of arts and cultural activities, including after school programs, dance performances, concerts, and other special events. Activities at the Annex will help link our school to the wider learning community
